Meet the Pastor

Minister Anthony Cannon is the proud pastor of the Riverview Missionary Baptist Church in Lenoir City, TN where he has served since June 2008.  He is committed to presenting the Word of God in its purest form. In teaching the message of the cross, he truly believes people can experience the life-changing power and presence of God.  Pastor Cannon ministers the word of God with such power, authority, and conviction that it changes the lives of all who are willing to listen. At Riverview, he has established the church mission of “turning the world, upside down by spreading the love of Jesus Christ”. He believes the change in us when demonstrated, can impact the world.  Pastor Cannon is a designated missionary for the Tennessee Baptist Convention 1-5-1 Evangelistic movement to win the lost in our communities.  He is also the Moderator for the Loudon District Association of the TBM&E.  Pastor Cannon loves the Lord and is committed to winning souls for Christ so that lives are changed, families are restored, and another generation rises up in the Lord!
